Micaela Terk (New York, 1990) is a facilitator, artist, and writer-publisher with a background in conflict mediation and movement research. Her workshops, events, performances, and writings shed light on bodily sense-making as integral to knowledge production. Micaela introduces movement-based approaches in unlikely spaces, often giving workshops at universities, and research institutes. Her work as a facilitator holds space for nurturing connections between personal creative movement, bodily presence, and critical reflection.
Micaela is the founder of Goodbye Books and director & co-founder of the Embodied Knowledge Bureau. She is also a founding member of SSDR, an international collective that integrates movement-based and somatic approaches within design education and practice.
