Micaela Terk (New York, 1990) is an artist, facilitator, and writer-publisher with a background in conflict mediation and somatic movement research. Her works, events, and writings surface questions around how knowledge is formed and performed. Micaela hosts body-based workshops in institutions of knowledge production and emanation, such as universities, public archives, and musea. Working from within, she seeks to disrupt historically valued knowledge-forms and mend (often neglected) connections between moving, sensing, and the learning process.
Micaela is the founder of Goodbye Books, director and co-founder of the Embodied Knowledge Bureau, and a member of the School for Somatic Design Practices.
